Our Mission
The Dong & Hsiai Foundation is committed to advancing education, innovation, and research in biomedical sciences, technology, interdisciplinary investigations, and the creative engagements. Founded by a dedicated UCLA professor with a lifelong passion for research and scientific discovery, community engagement, together with a visionary artist and collector, the foundation provides grants and funding to organizations that empower students, researchers, educators, and artists in these critical fields. Through strategic partnerships with universities, research institutions, museums, and nonprofit organizations, we strive to accelerate scientific discovery, expand access to education, and foster artistic innovation. Our mission is to leave a lasting impact on future generations by advancing knowledge and creativity for the greater good of society.
